Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser

Georg Geberth, Eduard-Schmid-Straße 29, 81541 Munich, Germany.

2. Validity

By registering for the International Tax Conference Munich, the participant (attendee) recognises these conditions of participation.

3. Registration and conclusion of contract

3.1 Registration for the ITC Munich takes place online via the ITC Munich website or by e-mail. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. The contract is concluded when the registration is confirmed to the e-mail address provided by the participant.

3.2 Access to attend ITC Munich in person or online will only be granted once the participation fee has been paid.

3.3 If the number of registrations exceeds the available capacity, registrations received after the capacity limit has been reached will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they are received and will move up in this order if capacity becomes available. If a registration cannot be considered by the organiser, he will inform the participant immediately.

4. Participation fees

4.1 The participation fees due in advance of ITC Munich can be paid by bank transfer or other payment methods offered on the ITC Munich website.

4.2 Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the participation fees and must be borne by the participant.

5. Participation requirements

5.1 For online participation, the participant requires a computer with access to the Internet and – if necessary – appropriate software. The costs for this shall be borne by the participant.

5.2 In the case of on-site participation, the participant is responsible for travelling to the venue (see 4.2).

6. Cancellation

6.1 The participant may withdraw from the event at any time in writing.

6.2 Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start of ITC Munich will result in a full refund of the participation fee.

6.3 In the event of cancellation within the last 4 weeks before the event, the participant will be reimbursed the participation fee less a lump sum of 50%.

6.4 If the cancellation is made on the day before or later, the flat-rate fee shall be 100% of the participation fee. The participation fee will therefore not be refunded.

6.5 The flat-rate fee shall not apply if a substitute participant named by the cancelled participant takes over the contract. The relevant date for calculating the deadline is the date on which the Organiser receives the declaration of withdrawal.

7. Access data and data protection

7.1 The participant undertakes to treat the access data provided to him/her (user name, password) confidentially and not to pass them on to third parties.

7.2 The participant agrees that audio and video data may be processed and recorded during the ITC Munich.

7.3 The Organiser processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. This can be viewed on the website: https://itc-munich.tax/datenschutz/

8. Copyright

8.1 All materials provided by the organiser (scripts, presentations, videos) are subject to copyright and may only be used for personal purposes.

8.2 Reproduction, forwarding or public distribution of the content is not permitted without the express permission of the organiser.

8.3 Recording and storage of audio, video and chat data by the participant is prohibited. The participant is not permitted to create screenshots or visitor images or to record personal data without the express and verifiable consent of all participants.

9. Liability

The organiser is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. In the case of slightly negligent breaches of duty, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

The organiser accepts no liability for damage caused by technical faults, in particular internet failures.

10. Right of cancellation

Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB have the right to cancel their declaration of intent within 14 days without giving reasons. The cancellation period begins with the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of cancellation, a written declaration (e.g. by e-mail) to the organiser is required. The participation fee will be refunded in full if cancellation is made within the cancellation period. The attached sample cancellation form can be used for this purpose.
